Silas is from the land of composers.

Wether you’re talking Zimmer or Beethoven, Germany has produced some of the finest composers of all time. From that heritage add his absolute love of American cinema and you have a potent combination.

Silas composed original music for a number of projects, including a feature documentary which premiered in Los Angeles.

​

He started playing piano and guitar in his early childhood and grew to love orchestral music which he transcribed to learn about orchestration. 

After gaining experience in Los Angeles, visiting numerous scoring sessions and in addition taking lessons from studio musicians, composers and orchestrators, he focused on his goal to become a composer.

Silas currently composes and conducts music for an independent orchestra and choir on a regular basis and enjoys to embrace various other projects, also collaborating with other composers.
